Online Yoga Nidra Classes
Yoga Nidra (or ‘yogic sleep’) is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Typically induced by a guided meditation, Nidra seeks to achieve and maintain (for the duration of the session) a state similar to the ‘drifting off’ stage, just before sleep comes.
There is an awful lot of evidence showing that yoga Nidra helps to relieve stress and anxiety, and can help relieve physical ailments such as headaches, migraines, and even insomnia. Yoga Nidra has also been applied to assist soldiers to recover from post-traumatic stress disorder.
