Azulfit is the brainchild of Jamie Issac, a Californian Pilates Master with a vision to create some of the world’s finest yoga and Pilates retreats. Azulfit’s Fuerteventura retreat in the Canary Islands is really the place where I decided I wanted to become a yoga teacher.
In Jamie’s own words: “I founded Azulfit & Fluid Art Pilates Studio to share my passion with those who are ready to take their next conscious step toward vibrant health. Changing the world takes energy, clarity and inspiration, and I make sure my students have more than they need so they can be a shining example to others of what is possible.”
YogaLondon is a dedicated yoga teacher training school, offering a diverse range of Yoga Alliance accredited programmes. It’s where I gained my qualification as a registered Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher! Not only are they one of the largest teacher training schools in Europe, they’re also measurably one of the most successful.
In their own words: “YogaLondon teach in a non-dogmatic way, encouraging trainees to find their own authentic style whilst still respecting the yoga tradition.”
Urban Massage is, in essence, a directory service operating in London, Birmingham, and Manchester.
The concept revolves around connecting members of the public with a vast selection of professional massage and reflexology therapists. You can read reviews from current and former clients, and book a massage therapist to visit your home at a time that works best for you.
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but Urban Massage recently listed yours truly as one of their top yoga teachers in London.
You can check out their blog post about me here.
Crouch End Reiki
Alex Afia is a Reiki practitioner based in Crouch End, North London. In his own words, Alex describes Reiki as a complementary therapy that can be a great aid to stress-reduction and general well-being, among many other benefits.
However, I think the most powerful demonstration of the potential in Alex’s treatments comes from the words of a dying neighbour, who Alex offered to treat in an effort to ease the man’s pain, and bring a sense of peace and wellbeing back into his remaining days:
“If death feels anything like this, then bring it on.”
